SELF CARE DAY

JULY 24, 2023

International Self Care Day is celebrated every year on July 24th, and it's the perfect opportunity to pamper yourself and show some love to your body, mind and soul. Whether you're feeling stressed, tired, or just in need of a little boost, here are some ways to treat yourself like a Queen (or King) on this special day.

1. Start your day with a delicious breakfast. You deserve to nourish yourself with something yummy and healthy, like a smoothie bowl, oatmeal, or eggs and toast. Add some fresh certified organic fruits, nuts, or seeds for extra flavour and nutrition.

2. Do something that makes you happy. It could be anything from reading a book, listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game. Whatever it is, make sure it brings you joy and relaxation.

3. Give yourself a spa treatment. You don't need to spend a lot of money or time to pamper yourself at home. You can make your own face mask, scrub, or bath bomb with simple ingredients from your kitchen. Or you can use your favourite products and indulge in a facial, manicure, pedicure, or massage.

4. Practice gratitude. One of the best ways to practice self care is to appreciate what you have and who you are. Take some time to write down or say out loud three things you're grateful for today. It could be something big or small, like your family, your health, or your favourite song.

5. End your day with a good night's sleep. Nothing beats a restful sleep to recharge your batteries and prepare you for the next day. Make sure you have a comfortable bed, a dark and quiet room, and a soothing routine before you go to bed. You can also use aromatherapy, meditation, or music to help you relax and fall asleep.

These are just some ideas to help you treat yourself like a queen on International Self Care Day. Remember that you are worthy of love and care every day of the year. So don't be afraid to spoil yourself and enjoy the moment. You deserve it!
