CAFRESCO ORGANICS

A Paradise of Organic Vegetables

Cafresco Organics stands out in the organic market as a premium grower of a bounty of certified organic vegetables. Situated in Koo Wee Rup, Victoria Cafresco Organics grow over 20 varieties of veggies that are fresh, healthy, certified organic and delicious. Some of their specialties include onions, beans, corn, tomatoes, capsicum, eggplant, broccoli, artichokes, cabbage, fennel, chard, silverbeet, cauliflower, Romanesco, chicory, cucumber, kale and lettuce. The farm is also renowned for growing exceptional endives, radicchio and Japnut pumpkin, as well as their iconic asparagus that has a loyal fan base every year.

WULFF & CUB

Certified Organic Mushroom Farm

Wulff & Cub is a certified organic mushroom farm, situated in the Lockyer Valley on Bottom Hill Organic Farm. With a passion for all mushrooms, Kristian Wulff, his wife Sophia and their ‘Wulff-cubs’ Luka, Jesper, Angus and Huey grow a variety of Oyster Mushrooms including, the Queensland White Oyster, Blue Oyster, King Oyster, Pearl Oyster, Pink Oyster, Baby King Oyster, as well as Shiitake, Chestnut and Lion’s Mane.

Wulff & Cub help Market Organics supply local, certified organic mushrooms to our community. Their mushrooms travel from farm straight to our shelves. Kristian and Sophia literally pick their mushrooms just hours before they land on the shelves in-store – it doesn’t get fresher than that!

MO URBAN FARM

Introducing Our Very Own Certified Organic Farm

A key step in our farm to table philosophy, Samantha and Johan Gelderblom, owners of Market Organics, would like to officially introduce you to the MO Urban Farm. We are excited to take you along and share our journey of setting up and establishing a certified organic farm.

So where does this journey start? At a little plot of land, in Karana Downs, a quiet Western suburb of Brisbane, and a big dream from Samantha and Johan. With Meghan Perry and Leah Gustavsson, Market Organics’ very own Produce Manager and IT Manager along for the ride, they started working towards the goal of establishing a Market Organics farm, to deliver produce straight from the farm to store.

Beau-Vista Park Organic Farm - A Farming Family

A sprawling collection of rich paddocks and pastures, located just outside of Gympie in the quiet town of Goomboorian, Beau-Vista Park Organic Farm is testament to the Mahaffey family’s timeless dedication, passion and commitment to the land. Owned and operated by Trevor & Cheryll Mahaffey and their two sons, Peter & Brendan, the 200 acres of farmland have remained in the family for more than 65 years. Part of an undying pursuit to provide their local community with fresh, wholesome produce, the farm has only continued to grow and diversify with age.

Nestled in the rich farmlands of the Lockyer Valley, QLD, Brisbane Valley Organics is a farm dedicated to its community. Located just outside the township of Toogoolawah, it has been passionately managed by couple Shane Munro and Angela Devlin for more than 15 years.

Located just off the beaten track in the lush farming fields of Churchable, QLD, Bottom Hill Farm and Spring Lakes Farm are home to father and son duo, Nathan Wulff and Ole Wulff, and partners, Anika Wulff and Zac Haywood. A close-knit family of first generation farmers, their story unfolds as a series of intertwined happenings and events. Entrenched in each other’s daily lives, one story cannot be told without the other.

Positioned in the lush farmlands of Beerwah, QLD - at the base of the twin peaks of Mount Coochin - Coochin Hills Organics Farm is a vibrant property adorned with rows of fruiting strawberries, zucchini, snow peas, and cherry tomatoes. Owned and operated by couple, David Beattie & Julia Gee, the farm – now a thriving hub of activity – is a true testament to the families’ sheer determination to learn, grow and succeed. From the uncertainty of farming conventionally in their first season to the successful business operation that they support today, their steadfast commitment to growing organically is enough to inspire even the newest, urban farmer.

HAMPTON BLUE ORCHARD

A Multi-Generational, Organic Blueberry And Raspberry Orchard

Nestled between the tall timbers of the Great Dividing Range in Hampton – approximately 30 km’s north of Toowoomba – Hampton Blue is a local orchard like no other. A well-established property with a strong family lineage, the Hampton Blue orchard spans over 20 acres of lush farm land and has been supplying to the local community for almost 40 years. Scaling their operation over time to meet growing demand from the public, the family is determined to keep traditions alive – to grow fresh, certified organic berries for generations to come.

For Janvier Bararunyeretse, farming is more than just a means to an end. A passionate grower for Montview Farm on Mount Tamborine, farming is in his blood – it is his passion, profession and life source. Injecting his knowledge and experience of farming in Africa into the rich farmlands of South East Queensland, Janvier’s sheer willingness to learn, grow and hone his skills when presented with a new challenge is testament to his resilience and strength of character.
