NATUROPATH FAVORITE: HEALING RAGU

There’s nothing quite like the comfort of a slow-cooked ragu — rich, hearty, and brimming with goodness. Made with organic chuck steak, collagen, and bone broth, this naturopath’s favorite is gut-healing, nourishing, and perfect with Girolomoni pasta.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 jar Chantal Organics Tomato & Basil Passata

  • 500 g The Meating Place organic chuck steak, diced

  • 2 tbsp Etre collagen powder

  • 2 tbsp Gevity Bone Broth Body Glue

  • 2 tsp Lovin’ Body mixed Italian herbs

  • A few bay leaves

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • 1 packet Girolomoni pasta

METHOD:

  1. Place the passata, chuck steak, collagen powder, bone broth, Italian herbs, bay leaves, salt, and pepper into a slow cooker.

  2. Stir gently to combine, then cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the beef is tender and the sauce is rich.

  3. When ready to serve, cook the pasta according to the packet instructions.

  4. Drain, then serve the pasta topped with the slow-cooked ragu.
