Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual with a passion for organics and wholefoods to lead one of our busiest stores in Brisbane. As the store manager, you will be part of a growing brand of organic and wholefood stores in Brisbane and Gold Coast. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the grocer, managing all aspects of the store including sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. You will be supported by a team of buyers, administration, and marketing professionals based at the distribution centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all store operations, including staffing, sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed store sales goals.

  • Ensure adequate inventory levels, ordering and receiving products as needed to maintain inventory accuracy.

  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organisation, and safety in the store.

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, resolving customer enquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Hire, train, and develop store personnel, providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and mentoring to ensure their success.

  • Manage and maintain financial records and budgets, monitoring expenses and revenue to ensure profitability.

  • Collaborate with your team to ensure seamless and efficient store operations.

Requirements:

  • Prior knowledge of business administration or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in grocery retail, with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of grocery retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Proficiency in back Office and point-of-sale software

  • Experience in hospitality, management experience ideal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $79,000.00 per year
